Mission Statement

Bradstowe Lodge is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a Residential Care Home for 27 people in the service category of “old age” in either gender for individuals and couples not falling within any other category.

Our mission statement aims to respond sensitively to the needs of each resident and their family. We are committed to providing the highest standards of residential and social care in safe, comfortable and stimulating surroundings, where individuality is recognised and residents have the opportunity to enjoy each others company.

AIMS

1. To provide a responsive service to residents, prospective residents and their families.

2. To provide a sympathetic environment in which the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents can be met.

3. To create an atmosphere within the home which will enable and encourage our residents to make informed choices and decisions.

4. To ensure that there is no discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, age, sexual orientation or gender within the home.

5. To encourage our residents, where appropriate, to maintain their links within their former communities.

6. To provide sensitive, beneficial short- term respite care where appropriate.

7. To attract and retain good staff by focusing on their professional development, health and job satisfaction.
